I spent years avoiding anything fitness-related (unless you count power walking through Target). It wasn’t until my late 30’s that I finally started making my health a priority.
But then midlife hit, and came with some surprises—like belly fat, low energy, and the kind of body changes no one really warns you about.
When my go-to habits stopped working, I knew I had two choices: keep spiraling—or do something different. So I did. I stopped chasing “skinny,” and started focusing on strength…both physically and mentally.
What started as a small shift turned into an unexpected midlife glow-up. Now I feel stronger at 50 than I ever did in my 30s—and I’m not stopping anytime soon.
